- WIRES-X node under test at Rangewood
John/VK4JPA has established his Yaesu WIRES-X Node in experimental mode on 145.350MHz Simplex FM
at Rangewood near Townsville QLD. The node is running with Analogue access mode and defaults
to connect into the America-Link node 21080.
To use DTMF tones the format is "# and five tone numbers that usually designate the room number you want to connect to.
DTMF#66666 will give you the node status in terms of what room it is currently connected to.
DTMF #99999 will disconnect from the current room - for example so you can dial up another room of your choice.
DTMF #55555 reconnects to the default room.
John would like feedback from any operators playing with the node to improve the experiment.
