The following list contains events that everyone can attend.

ably supported by Kiyoshi Fukushima VK3BZX from Vertex Standard Australia Pty Ltd
The Navcom team will be showing off the latest and greatest
from the ICOM, Yaesu and Diamond product lines.
The Navcom team are also supporting the Convention with
some good deals on equipment.

The Townsville Amateur Radio Club Inc.
The Club of Renown will have a stand displaying some of the latest
things happening in the Rado Amateur Hobby, information about the
club and other hobby entities, have on sale the WIA Foundation Manual
2nd Edition and be staffed by hams who can answer just about any
question about the hobby. The clubs QSL bureau will also be there
for those looking to pick up QSL cards.

After helping set up the Monster Auction
site set up your own stall in the Carpark.  
It costs nothing to display or buy, the         

only condition for those displaying wares
that the display be safe, colourful and
outward going.
That's right! You have to talk it up and show some
showmanship. That way you will attract
more prospective buyers!
Co-ordinator Richard VK4FRJG will decide if you display is Boring and needs spicing up.



Raffles
All weekend !
The Convention is a major funds raiser for
The Townsville Amateur Radio Club Inc
and the Raffles are well supported by generous
donations from those interested in supporting
the Amateur Radio Hobby
Make sure you catch up with a TARCadian with
a raffle book, they will either be at the TARC table or
roaming about the convention venue !


The Famous NQ AR Convention Monster Auction
from 12-30pm sharp Sunday 20th September
James Cook University Douglas Campus
University Hall - BBQ Grounds

Guaranteed to have more monsters per metre than any other
ham radio auction in the WORLD !
The TARC tarps and treasure will be assembled from 7am Sunday morning
(you are invited to help trailer and stack the treasure) and you should not be
tardy for the 12-30pm auction start, lest you miss out on TREASURE !
Those who have registered for the Convention will be able to partake in a
sumptuous sit down lunch inside University Hall prior to the auction.
Be sure to bring your money with you as the quality of the treasure
will ensure brisk bidding !

   Registered attendees - free, included in registration fee
   Not registered ? a $5 pro-rata fee is payable for an auction bidders number !
